When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms. Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires. Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever. This book is intended for mature audiences.

Apparently, I have lived under a rock for some time, because I knew ABSOLUTELY! POSITIVELY! NOTHING! about Ms. James, Christine Grey, or Ana Steele for what seemed like forever. The first person to recommend FSOG was my god mother ( of all people) tells me I should read this book. "Yeah Right" More time goes by then I hear about this book on the news, everyone is talking about it on Facebook. Finally my sister and a co-worker bring the subject of this book up and I knew that I had to ultimately take the challenge IS THIS FSOG really everything that everyone says........

HECK YEAH IT IS!

I. COULD. NOT. PUT. THIS. DOWN.

Christine Grey he's young, sexy a business mogul that demands recognition and lets not forget A BILLIONAIRE. Of course, with this many positives there has to be a negative. Which so happens to be the fact that he is a tad possessive and had border line stalker tendencies. Honestly, I was able to look past all of that and fall in love with him.

Ana Steele currently in college finishing her degree, works part-time at the local hardware store. She likes to go unnoticed and on some level has self esteem issues. She's pretty, has a small group of friends.

On one fine day after agreeing to help out a sick friend; Ana has fallen over herself at the feet of Christine Grey literally, things are never the same after that moment. Instantly there was unspoken chemistry between the two. Like most they attempt to deny the force and play a game of cat and mouse. Over dinner Christine propositions Ana into being his "sub for x amount of time half way agree, but one small problem....yes you've guessed it she still has her V card. So before she can truly be all that he wants her to be, he has to give her a few lessons, not to say that he doesn't learn some of his own.

FSOG what can I say I loved it. I devoured it. The pace was very fast. I couldn't wait to get to the next page. I liked the pace, the butterflies, the angst, I was in for a ride.

After reading this I learned that it was a fan fiction and honestly I'm glad that I didn't know before reading this because I probably wouldn't have given this a chance. After giving it more thought this story did feel like something else I read, but obliviously this was more Rated R. So if you are a fan of "mommy porn" and love to have a smutty good time then definitely read FSOG.
