Addicted to You by Krista & Becca Ritchie
Series: Addicted #1
New Adult, Contemporary Romance
Released: July 1, 2013

Two addictions. One lie.

No one would suspect shy, Lily Calloway’s biggest secret. While everyone is dancing at college bars, Lily stays in the bathroom. To get laid. Her compulsion leads her to one-night stands, steamy hookups and events she shamefully regrets. The only person who knows her secret happens to have one of his own.

Loren Hale’s best friend is his bottle of bourbon. Lily comes at a close second. For three years, they’ve pretended to be in a real relationship, hiding their addictions from their families. They’ve mastered the art of concealing flasks and random guys that filter in and out of their apartment.

But when they go on a family boat trip, surrounded by open seas and limited male bodies in sight, Lily’s confronted with a big fear. Only one guy onboard can fill her addiction, and she’s sworn off going there with Loren Hale ever again.
Now the only person who can truly help her, can barely help himself.

**This is a New Adult book recommended for readers 18 and up**

No one told me you can love someone and still be miserable. How is that possible?

Upon completing Addicted to You I've learned a few things about myself.

  1. I love broken people. I have this deep compulsive optimism that everyone can be fixed
  2. I adore toxic romances. I understand that everything will not always be sunshine and rainbows
  3. I lust for smutty for situations. Need I elaborate
  4. I'm loath cliffhangers. Well that's not new, it just surprises me when it happens, immediately sending me over the edge.
  5. I desperately need Addicted to You to become a sequel, series, or whatever  I. WANT. MORE!!!!
Loren (Lo) Hale and Lily Calloway are both addicts and enablers.Truth be told I did not think that you could be both. They live in a decisional world that they're functional addicts and everything is under control. Only thing is everyone around them can see the train wreck happen.

Addicted to You had my full attention after the first chapter and keep me on the edge until the very end. At one point I thought I would go through my own withdrawal when I  was forced to put it down to do something frivolous like cook, clean, go to sleep, or to work.

Lo and Lily have been best friends for ever and have kept each others secret for just as long. In efforts to keep they debauchery in full swing they pretended to be in a relationship, until things took a turn during a boating trip. From my view of things I believe Lo was all in the "fake" relationship and Lily just needed to realize that there was nothing faux about the connection they had.

I will say that at first I despised Lily. There was eye rolling, name calling, I even gave my e reader the finger a few times. I assumed like most people that she just wasn't trying hard enough to get better. Once I had a moment to Google her condition, my need for her to be fixed kicked in.

On the outside Lo's problem didn't seem much of an issue to me, I'm presuming its because Lily helped him keep it together in front of family. Not to mention the few moments it appeared that he was trying to keep it together for Lily's sake. When Lily's jealousy had her on a downward Lo was able to see it and help take control of her.

Krista and Becca have done an awesome job with Addicted to You. I experienced with so many different emotions I laughed, cringed, had butterflies, became aroused, I even cried. The story flowed so well. It was plausible. I stayed on the edge of my seat. If you're like me and love toxic love, broken souls, with a dash of drama and angst I definitely urge you to add Addicted to You to your TBR list.

**Thank you, gracias, merci to the author/ publisher for providing me an arc copy via YA Bound Book Tours in exchange for my honest opinion.**
