About the Book
Stacia Palmer had one goal in life--to become an NFL quarterback’s wife.

For the past three years, she’s seduced her way through the university’s football line-up. But when she finally has a quarterback fresh off the draft, Stacia experiences a shocking change of heart. One that sends her back to the place she never thought she'd return to.

Vegas.

Once there, she finds that no one believes her. Least of all Pace Larson, her sexy on-again off-again ex who has never quite gotten over her leaving him for someone else. Of course, he’s now the starting quarterback and determined to claim her as his prize.

But can Stacia give him a second chance when he’s toyed with her emotions into the fourth quarter? Or will they run out of time?

Stacia felt a presence at her shoulder. She recognized his cologne before she even looked up. It smelled like desire and late-night sex marathons.
Pace.
“What do you want?” Stacia asked, not looking up.
Damn him for being able to do that to me!
“Just coming to check on you,” Pace said in a sexy low tone that sent a shot of need straight between her legs.
She jerked her head up. “Why?”
He raised an eyebrow, and she had to keep from sighing. That face. God, if he wasn’t such an asshole…
“Because you look miserable, even from across the room.” “I do not!” “The hair flip earlier, Pink? Really? Sure sign of distress. You practically called me over here.”
“You can talk to me, you know.” He leaned his hip against the bar. He was almost touching her but not quite. She could feel the heat of his skin. “Come on, let’s go outside. Away from all this noise.”
“Don’t call me that,” she said through gritted teeth. He smirked at her response. “And I didn’t call you over here. I don’t even want to see you.”
He brushed her hair off one shoulder and just barely skimmed his finger across her exposed collarbone. She stiffened. Her entire body throbbed. No one else elicited these primal emotions from her. Not even the guy she’d given her virginity to. The guy no one knew about.
“If you think for one second that I’m going to go anywhere with you, you’re insane,” she said, straightening. “I promise I won’t touch you,” he growled out. “Unless you beg me to.”
Stacia smacked him in the chest and stormed away. What an arrogant jackass! How dare he say those things to her! For all he knew, she was still dating Marshall. Pace was so testy over the fact that he thought she’d slept with Marshall when they were together, yet here he was, seducing her, while he still believed she was with Marshall. Ass!
Pace chuckled behind her. “Come on, Stacia. I’m just messing with you.” He followed her across the crowded room until she reached the restroom. Then, he did exactly what he’d said he wouldn’t. He grabbed her arm and kept her from entering a place he wouldn’t follow. “Seriously, what’s up?” he asked. “Do you really want to know?” Fury and also desperation coated her features. She really wanted to tell someone. She wanted it off her chest. “Yeah. Though this fire is pretty hot.” He raised an eyebrow.
“I just still consider you mine.”
“God, is everything just a joke to you?” she asked. His eyes shot straight through her. “Not everything.” “Feels like it. I feel like a joke to you.”
“Most things, Pink,” he said, stepping closer, “but not you. Never you.” Stacia tensed as she forgot the world around her. Pace had a way of doing that—making her lose herself. But all she did by losing herself was open herself up for him to hurt her. Time and time again. “Pace,” she said through a shuddering breath. “I won’t take what isn’t mine.”
“Good.”

Angela Parkhurst's The Forgotten Fairytales Blog Tour

The Forgotten Fairytales by Angela Parkhurst

Release Date: Feb. 10 2014
Series:Standalone
Genre: YA Fantasy

About the Book
Once upon a time, seventeen-year-old Norah Hart believed in the lure of fairytales and happily ever afters. That was before she was forced to live in a fairy tale nightmare.

A psychotic, couture-clad, shoe obsessed Princess.
A not-so-charming, alcoholic Prince.
A hot Big Bad Wolf that she absolutely cannot fall for—no matter how well he kisses.

If Norah had known she’d be attending a boarding school for the nut job reincarnations of fairy tale characters, she would have insisted on going to Moscow with her father. But getting out isn’t as easy as she thought. Especially once Norah realizes she, too, is a storybook character. An Unknown. The first one in over one hundred years. Soon Norah learns she has the ability to rewrite the stories, putting everyone’s Happily Ever After in jeopardy.

Some princesses will do whatever it takes to protect their endings. Even if it means betraying the one closest to you.

Every scene between Norah and Wolf was fun to write, even more fun to reread over and over again because I love their chemistry, I hope you do too!!

“Why are you staring at me like that?”
A five o’clock shadow coated his rough skin and he breathed in, as if to smell me. I shivered, but not in a disgusted way, in a way that made me want to take a step closer, his eyes were beautifully intoxicating.
“Most princesses run at the sight of me.”
I leaned against the tree for support. “You’re not scary.”
“Of course I am. I’m a villain.” Wolf flashed his big white teeth at me. They were slightly bigger and sharper than the average person, not that I spent a lot of time looking at people’s teeth, but they stood out. Come to think of it, his ears were a little bigger too, and his eyes.
“Let me guess, the Big Bad Wolf?” I examined him, wondering why I never noticed it before. His burly hands could kill someone. “Frightening.” I raised my hands and pretended to be terrified. “But you’re wrong about one thing. I’m not a princess. I don’t claim to be perfect like the others. What if I’m a villain, too? Hell, maybe we’re all villains, we just don’t know it because not everyone has snapped yet.”
“Naw. You wouldn’t be so worried about Kate if you were.”
He was right, but only about the Kate thing. Order wasn’t something I’d obsessed over. And I sure as hell wasn’t going to start because someone told me to.
“You’re so wound up, like a volcano ready to explode.” Wolf’s hand grazed my shoulder. A strand of my sandy hair slipped between his fingers and he twisted it, his attention pinned to the smoothness. A lump built in my throat, his touch clouding my mind. “There’s a party tonight at the south end of the woods. You should come, and release some of that tension. I, for one, would love to see an unleashed princess.”

About Confessed:

A brand new dirty, sexy, funny standalone romance...

Lucy Burchett is the heiress to a notoriously disastrous family, and she's left home for good. But when she runs a big, black pickup off the road, totaling it, she finds herself stuck in the middle of nowhere with the driver. He's got a body to die for and a hair-trigger temper. Vince Russo looks like a felon, but he's also pretty funny. He’s on the lam from the cops… and a psychopathic, Russian mob boss who wants to put his balls on a barbeque. Literally.

After a night of ill-advised cocktails and bathroom-wrecking sex, Vince just can't get Lucy off his mind. But he's got plans to rob her. And Lucy’s life is about to get a little bit criminal too.

But can a bad boy and a good girl really escape from their troubles together? Can they trust each other at all?

In the steady march of disasters that follow them west, they fight and they laugh. They tease and they’re tender. They’re either oil and water, or chocolate and peanut butter.

Except, they can’t run from the real world forever. And there’s a hell of a surprise in store for both of them…

We get a room at a motel on Central—two floors, cinderblock, bubble-gum pink—called the Drive Inn.
photo-aug-09-1-18-56-pm “The Drive Inn. Punny,” says Lucy, gathering up her stuff as I park near our room.
But as we head down the sidewalk, I hear footsteps behind us. I put my hand to my knife in my pocket and turn around. Cool, calm, ready to strike.
But it’s the manager who checked us in.
His nametag says BRAD. Gringo, short, pudgy. Nice enough, provided he doesn’t start poking his nose into our business.
He approaches me, not Lucy, and in a low man-to-man voice he says, “I forgot to say, I think there’s a problem with the cable in your room.”
“No big deal,” I say, about to keep going. Does this guy have eyes? Does he fucking think I’m going to be alone in a room with Lucy and watch television? “Not going to be an issue.”
“I mean, sir, that the premium channels,” he pauses there to wiggle his eyebrows, “are permanently turned on. Management is working on it. But I’m obliged to inform you, in case you have anybody underage in your party.”
Turning over my shoulder, I see Lucy leaning down and fixing something on the heel of her boots. The curve of her hips, the bend of her knee, the soft white flesh on the back of her thigh. “Premium as in…”
“Porn, yes sir,” he says, in just a whisper. “So, I hope that doesn’t offend you.”
Lucy stands back up, and her bra strap slides down. She doesn’t fix it. Instead she just looks straight at me. She hasn’t heard him.
I want her naked and gasping and telling me all the dirty, filthy fantasies she doesn’t even know she has.
“Don’t worry, man,” I say. “The premium channels will be just fine.”

West is determined to break down my walls. He won’t give up. And little by little they come crumbling. But if he knew what lurked behind them, he wouldn’t be so eager to get rid of them.

PROLOGUE

VIOLA
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, lived a young princess who awaited a prince who would give her everything she ever dreamed of… love, passion, loyalty. He’d be the sweetest, kindest, most heartwarming gentleman a girl could ever ask for. And he’d be perfect.
…Excuse me while I vomit.
There is absolutely, positively, no way that a man like that exists on this earth. I used to think he was, but of course, I was proven wrong. I was young and naive, and didn’t know any better.
And he was Travis King.

I remember how clear the sky was as I sat on my rooftop outside of my bedroom window. Summer was fading away and the start of my seventh grade year was right around the corner. The stars were super bright and as I counted them, I heard Travis’ father screaming from the house across from mine. He did that a lot and occasionally, I’d see Travis through the window of his bedroom. He’d put on his headphones to tune out the yelling, as if it was something to which he was accustomed. But that night he didn’t go to his bedroom. He ran out of his front door, slamming it behind him, and began pacing his front yard. I swallowed, watching him intently as his hands balled into fists at his sides.
When the Kings moved across the street from us, Travis and my older brother, Drew, instantly became best friends. They were both going into their first year of high school and I was sad I wouldn’t be at the same school as them anymore. Well, mostly about Travis. Drew had made it very clear he didn’t like his little sister tagging along, but Travis never made me feel like I was a nuisance.
As I watched him kick the dirt on the sidewalk, he looked up at me. His lips were turned down and I could see the anger in his eyes. My breath stilled as he watched me watch him, and I was certain he’d tell my brother I’d been spying on him.
Instead, he walked across the street, climbed up the trellis and sat down next to me. He stayed silent for a long while, but then he finally turned and spoke.
“I hate my dad sometimes.”
“Why does he get so mad?” I asked.

He looked away and rested his arms over his bent knees. “He drinks. Sometimes too much.”
“Does he hurt you?” He didn’t look at me. “Or your mother?”
He winced. “No. Just yells.”
We sat in silence, both lying on our backs as we looked up at the sky above us, the stars so bright and big.
“You can sit up here anytime, you know? My parents won’t mind.”
“Drew would,” he said matter-of-factly. “He’d call me a pansy.” He chuckled.
“Drew calls everyone that.”
He laughed again.
I turned my head and looked at him. “I don’t think you’re a pansy.”
Travis tilted his head and looked into my eyes and everything went serious. I watched his throat move, swallowing hard. He licked his lips and moved in close. Feeling his breath against my skin made me so nervous, I instinctively turned my head.
“Are you excited about going into high school?” I spit out, trying to change the subject, looking back up at the stars. I could’ve sworn Travis was about to kiss me. It would’ve been my first kiss.
Moments passed and he finally responded. “Yeah, I guess. It’ll be nice getting back into basketball season and staying late for practices and games.”
I knew what he was implying without saying the words. Less time at home.
“Why do you think she puts up with it?” Curiosity got the best of me, and I could no longer keep it in. “Can’t she leave him?” I asked.
He shrugged. I supposed it wasn’t that simple for adults, but to me it just sounded like common sense. Why would anyone want to be with someone that treated them like crap?
That wasn’t the last time Travis snuck up the rooftop and sat with me under the stars. We shared details with each other that we hadn’t shared with anyone else before. It was our secret little spot where we could talk or just sit and stare up at the sky.
It was easy.
He wasn’t my brother’s best friend.
I wasn’t his best friend’s little sister.

And the lines between us weren’t blurred.
I was only twelve years old, so I truly believed prince charming existed. As I grew older, I came to realize he never really did. Because if he did, he most certainly wouldn’t be available. And he most definitely wouldn’t be interested in a girl like me. I’m not saying that because I want anyone to tell me otherwise, but if such a man existed, he’d have no chance with me anyway. Because for some only-God-knows-why reason, my heart only beats for one man. My pulse only increases when he walks into the room. My cheeks flush and my body hums when he looks at me. I feel the blood in my veins as my skin heats from his very existence. He’s the epitome of perfection.
…Too bad a decade later, he’s a complete asshole.
Travis King.
He’s no knight in shining armor; more like a royal jackass. He may look like a prince on the outside, but on the inside he’s a cocky, arrogant womanizer that I want to shove over a cliff.
All right, that might sound dramatic and all, considering I just confessed my feelings about him, but those are feelings of hate…not love.
From being head over heels for him as a young girl to loathing him as a woman, Travis King needs to remember the golden rule—never admit defeat.
It was game on.

The Fix Up Kendall Ryan ebook cover The Fix Up
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Release Date: Oct 11, 2016

From New York Times Bestseller, Kendall Ryan, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

My tempting, and very alpha friend Sterling Quinn is someone I consider off-limits.

It's not just that we're friends, he's also cocky, confident, and British, which means he's a walking aphrodisiac.

But lately he's been giving me the look. You know the one. When he thinks I'm not paying attention, and his gaze lingers for too long.

And then we start working together, and that's when the sexual tension between us gets so thick, I want to hack through it with a machete. I want to make all these deep feelings I've harbored for him disappear, because there's no way this can end well.

The lines between business and pleasure become irrevocably blurred, and I'm stuck between a rock, and Sterling's very, very hard place.

Rather than keep a level head about our growing attraction, Sterling wants to go all in, showing me just how explosive we can be together.

But I've been around long enough to know that this British bad boy is more than my heart can handle. I'm not about to be cast aside like yesterday's underwear when he's done having fun.

Sterling’s never been told no, and he's not about to put his ego aside and play by my rules. But I never thought he'd fight so dirty.

“Hey, Camryn. Did I forget something at your office?” he asks.

“No, I just . . . I had some questions for you about tomorrow.”

“Of course. What’s on your mind?”

“Well, when you said hang out, what did you mean?”

Anna’s hand flies over her mouth and her eyes widen.

No sense in beating around the bush.

I can almost hear the smile in Sterling’s voice when he replies. “What do you want it to mean?”

Straightening my shoulders, I sit up taller in my chair. “Oh no, you don’t, mister. Before I agree to spend time with you, there are a few things I need to know.”

“Go for it.”

“How many women have you slept with?”

“Pardon?” Sterling coughs.

Anna is on her feet, making slashing motions across her throat with her hand.

“Your number. What is it?” My tone is calm, controlled. I’m actually enjoying this.

“Is that information you need as my publicist, or as the woman I’ve asked to hang out?”

“Just answer the question, Sterling. Or can you not count that high?”

He lets out a sigh, so brief I barely heard it. For a second, I’m sure he’s going to dodge the question. “Enough to know what I’m doing. Not enough to make me a total fucking wanker.”

I laugh, despite myself. It’s actually a good response.

“Let me make this clear for you. I like you, Camryn. We’re both adults, and there’s no reason why we can’t hang out and enjoy each other’s company without it turning weird.”

What the hell does that mean? I’m more confused now than before. Maybe this is his last hurrah before becoming a married man.

“I’m not quite sure what to say.”

“We have fun together. Let’s keep it casual and fun; we both deserve that.”

The man has a point.

“But you’re about to be married,” I say.

“Not tomorrow. Not the next day.”

“But soon.”

He exhales. “Yes, and that’s kind of stressing me the fuck out, so I could use a little downtime with someone who gets me.”

I swallow.

“Say yes,” he murmurs.

“Sterling . . .”

“I would never hurt you,” he adds softly.

“Fine, but I’m not having sex with you.”

Anna is now lying on the floor of my office, her face scrunched up in agony, her head in her hands.

“We’ll see,” he says.

A girly bubble of laughter escapes my lips, and I clamp a hand over my mouth. I want to bitch-slap myself for that outburst. But Sterling only seems amused.
